Tech Talk: How to Become an Appium Desktop Ninja, Chapter 4

You are already halfway through this Tech Talk series! 

As we enter Chapter 4, Wim Selles, Senior Solutions Architect at Sauce Labs, will discuss how you can connect and use the different versions of Appium with Appium Desktop.

You will learn how to set up and download Appium on your local machine (Linux/ Windows/ Mac), learn the necessary prerequisites (as Appium is built on Node.js), and understand the specific benefits of using ‘Appium doctor’ as first time users. 

Once you have configured Appium on your local machine, Wim will walk you through the two options for connecting different Appium servers to the Appium Desktop: 1) when you already have the Appium Desktop running, and 2) when you want to start a new Appium Desktop Inspector session, all while sharing some expert tips that will help you successfully complete the process.
