In this third chapter, Wim Selles, our Senior Solutions Architect at Sauce Labs, demonstrates how you can set up Appium Desktop by connecting it to a configured iOS simulator or an Android emulator. He will walk you through each step of the process, starting with downloading Appium Desktop, and maneuvering through the three different tabs in the start window:
‘Simple’ tab, which has all the default configurations to start an Appium server
‘Advanced’ tab, which offers advanced controls and options required for iOS/ Android
‘Preset’ tab, which helps you save inputs for future executions
