The Role:
As our Employee Experience Associate, you will be the face of the company for our India-based team. You will own the end-to-end local office experience, from making sure a new hire’s laptop is ready on their first day to ensuring our workspace is a place where people actually want to be. You are the vital link between our local operations and our global HR Ops team. You will report to the Director, Global People Operations, located in Berlin.
Responsibilities:
HR Operations and Onboarding
- Onboarding Facilitation: Conduct the local office tour and ensure that new Saucers have a successful and pleasant first day.
- HR Gateway: Act as the first point of contact for employee questions. You will handle initial queries and escalate complex matters regarding payroll, benefits, or policy to the HR Ops team.
- Compliance Support: Assist the global team in collecting or filing local documentation required for Indian labor compliance and internal audits.
IT and Asset Management
- Hardware Logistics: Act as the local custodian for IT assets. You will assist the IT team in tracking inventory and handle the physical distribution of laptops and peripherals.
- The First Day Tech: Ensure every new hire has their hardware, login credentials, and welcome kit ready before they arrive.
- Offboarding Logistics: Coordinate the secure collection and return of hardware from departing employees.
Workplace Operations
- Office Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, assist with access cards, mail handling, conference room bookings, and facility maintenance.
- Vendor and Supply Chain: Coordinate with the local vendors for office snacks, stationery, and branded materials. You will be responsible for keeping office supplies and snacks fully stocked. You will be the keeper and the distributor of Sauce Swag.
- Culture and Events: Assist with planning and coordinating local team-building activities, monthly lunches, and holiday celebrations to keep the India team connected to the global culture.
Required Skills:
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a high-growth startup or international corporate environment.
- The Owner Mentality: A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to balance multiple priorities across Admin, HR, Facilities, and helping ensure local IT support needs are appropriately communicated and fulfilled.
- Communication: Highly proficient in English. You must be able to provide clear written updates to the global team and negotiate effectively with local vendors.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail with experience maintaining accurate spreadsheets and inventory logs.
- Tools: Comfortable with the Google Workspace, Slack and Zoom.
This position is required to be in our Gurugram Office 5 days a week.
