AUSTRALIA – March 29, 2021 - Sauce Labs Inc., the leading provider of continuous testing solutions that deliver digital confidence, today announced the official launch of a new cloud data center in Australia, as the company continues to expand its global footprint by helping organizations in the ANZ region harness the power of application quality and grow their digital confidence. The new data center will make it faster and easier for organizations across the ANZ region to leverage the Sauce Labs Continuous Testing Cloud to continuously test the performance, reliability and scale of their web and mobile applications and ensure an exceptional digital experience for their customers while ensuring adherence to local data sovereignty and compliance requirements.

In addition, to further accelerate its growth in the region, Sauce Labs has appointed Subash Nambiar as vice president, Asia Pacific & Japan. A seasoned technology executive with deep knowledge of the local markets, Nambiar will lead the company’s business and sales strategy across the APJ region.

“The formal launch of our new data center in Australia is a testament to the commitment Sauce Labs is making to helping customers in the ANZ region achieve their test automation objectives,” said Nambiar. “Today’s announcement is especially critical for organizations in the telecom, government, and banking sectors that are required to leverage local data centers to meet their security, compliance, and data sovereignty requirements. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to help even more customers in the region grow their digital confidence.”

The launch of the new data center comes at a time of significant momentum for Sauce Labs, as the company continues to move aggressively to expand its platform capabilities to serve more users and support more use cases. Earlier this month, Sauce Labs acquired TestFairy, provider of an enterprise-grade, all-in-one mobile platform that helps companies streamline their development processes and release better mobile apps to market with shorter development cycles.

The acquisition of TestFairy came on the heels of Sauce Labs acquiring both AutonomIQ, a leading provider of scriptless test automation solutions, and API Fortress, a leading provider of modern API testing solutions for agile and DevOps teams. The company this year also enhanced its platform to support new developer-preferred frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, and TestCafe, and recently launched new end-to-end visual testing capabilities to give developers a more comprehensive view of application quality.
