Selenium 4.10 release is finally available for Java, .NET, Ruby, Python, and Javascript (including updates to the Grid and Internet Explorer Driver). Sauce Labs' Diego Molina joins Nikolay Advolodkin for a live Q&A on what's new in this release.

Here's a snapshot of what's new:

  • Chrome DevTools now supports v112, v113, and v114, with Firefox continuing on v85 for all versions.

  • The Selenium Manager now supports proxy usage, utilizing the proxy information set in the browser options - a solid upgrade!

  • There's more! Support for webview2 in Edge has been added for Java, JavaScript, and Ruby.

  • Selenium has improved user experience with error messages now including links to the Selenium documentation.

  • They've also performed an overhaul of the service classes and logging output options for a better, smoother experience.

  • Logger in Ruby? Updated! Now, it matches the behavior of other languages and has added features to improve filtering types of logging.
