This Cookie Notice explains how Sauce Labs uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites that link to this Cookie Notice as well as in our emails, and your related choices. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on our privacy practices.

We use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to provide, improve and customize our websites, emails and your experience, such as to allow you to access and use our websites without re-entering your username or password; to understand usage of our websites and the interests of our customers; and to determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon.

A cookie is a piece of data contained in a very small text file that is stored in your browser or elsewhere on your hard drive. Cookies allow us to identify your device as you navigate our websites and can allow third parties to recognize your device across different websites. We also use them to recognize return visitors to our websites.

What types of technologies does Sauce Labs use?

There are session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are cookies that disappear from your computer or browser when you close your browser (like when you turn off your computer). Persistent cookies stay on your computer even after you close your browser or turn off your computer.

Web beacons are clear electronic images with a unique identifier that can recognize certain types of data on your computer (similar to how cookies do). We use web beacons to operate and improve our websites and email communications, including to help deliver cookies, count visits, and understand usage and email campaign effectiveness. For example, we may put web beacons in marketing emails to notify us when you click on a link in the email that directs you to our websites.

JavaScript is a computer programming language most commonly used as a part of web pages, so that it can make dynamic pages tailored to the visitor of a webpage. You can turn off your browser’s ability to load JavaScript. An example of how to do so is available here. Since JavaScript is used in many web pages, turning off JavaScript will likely render many websites less functional.

The cookies used on this Website are either set by us or by our third-party service providers.
