Sauce Labs Brings Automated Testing to Microsoft Visual Studio Online

SAN FRANCISCO – November 18, 2015 – Sauce Labs, Inc., the leading cloud-based web and mobile application testing platform, today announced the launch of Sauce for Microsoft Visual Studio Online (VSO), a service that adds highly scalable automated and manual testing functionality to the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) components provided by VSO.

VSO provides a set of cloud-powered collaboration tools that work with a company’s existing integrated development environment (IDE) or editor, so that teams can work effectively on software projects of all shapes and sizes. Optimized for CI/CD environments, builds can be configured so that unit and regression tests are automatically run with each pull request, ensuring that only successful builds are released to market - and tests can be run in parallel so that build times are reduced from hours to minutes. Sauce for VSO also provides a facility for testing behind firewalls via Sauce Connect™, an enterprise-grade secure tunneling technology that is also part of the VSO integration.
