The Role:
Sauce Labs is seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Designer to join our fast-paced marketing team. In this pivotal individual contributor role, you will be a key player in shaping and elevating the Sauce Labs brand across all touchpoints
Responsibilities:
- Lead Creative Vision: Drive the design for key brand moments, including product launches, marketing campaigns, events, and internal initiatives.
- Design Across Mediums: Create compelling visual content for a wide range of channels, including web, motion, 3D, social media, print, swag, and physical environments.
- Build the Brand System: Evolve and scale our brand system by developing new tools, templates, and guidelines that maintain a fresh and consistent brand identity.
- Innovate with Technology: Experiment with AI and other emerging tools to enhance design speed, quality, and creative possibilities.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Partner with marketing, product, and leadership to ensure cohesive execution of our brand strategy.
- Create and Execute: Develop visual UX components and page templates for our website, creating both templated and custom assets as needed.
- Bring Ideas to Life: Use your skills in motion, 3D, and illustration to transform creative concepts into tangible designs. While a mastery of all is a bonus, a strong ability to direct and collaborate is essential.
- Manage Projects: Oversee project timelines and feedback loops to ensure high-quality work is delivered on schedule.
- Foster a Culture of Critique: Actively participate in giving and receiving thoughtful critique to help maintain a high standard of design across the team.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-7+ years of professional experience in a design role, with a significant focus on brand design or brand strategy
- A portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of visual storytelling and brand systems.
- Experience in B2B and technical product marketing, with a proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging visuals.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to clarity, elegance, and reducing visual noise.
- The ability to create high-quality work that elevates through subtlety, not spectacle.
- A strong sense of when to follow existing brand guidelines and when to push creative boundaries.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced environment, working within design sprints or similar agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating visual mockups and communicating design concepts clearly.
