Testing for Good Workshop | Automation Best Practices with JavaScript

Sauce Labs is launching a new Testing for Good series with a workshop on Automation Best Practices with JavaScript, in support of Black Girls Code.

Testing for Good Workshop | Automation Best Practices with JavaScript

Tune in on October 14 to level up your JavaScript testing, and support a good cause!

In this three-hour, hands-on workshop, you will learn actionable and innovative automation best practices for JavaScript testing, while also joining Sauce Labs and your testing peers to support Black Girls Code.

By the end of this workshop, you will understand:

  • Component testing

  • Full coverage testing

  • Testing links and tabs

  • Visual end-to-end testing

  • CI/CD

You will use the following tech:

  • ReactJS

  • Cypress

  • WebdriverIO

  • React testing library

  • Jest

  • Screener visual E2E testing

  • Sauce Labs

  • Github Actions


  • Previous experience with Node.js and JavaScript

  • Node 14 installed

  • Your favorite IDE

This workshop is free to attend. Instead of selling tickets, we invite attendees to donate to Black Girls Code. There is no minimum donation required, and 100% of donations go to the cause.
