Former Chef and CA Technologies Executive Brings Proven Enterprise Software Sales Expertise

SAN FRANCISCO - September 7, 2017 - Sauce Labs, Inc., provider of the world's largest cloud-based platform for automated testing of web and mobile applications, today announced the appointment of Tucker Callaway as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Callaway will be responsible for driving strategy and execution across the company’s global sales and solutions engineering function.

Callaway brings nearly two decades of enterprise software sales experience to his role at Sauce Labs. Prior to Sauce, Tucker spent four years as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for IT automation company Chef where he sustained high double digit growth for 4 consecutive years. Before Chef, he lead sales in a variety of capacities at CA Technologies, most recently as Vice President, Americas Sales for CA/Nimsoft. Before joining CA, Tucker held multiple sales positions at Mercury Interactive for nine years, including three years post-acquisition by HP.

“The explosive growth that Sauce Labs is enjoying is proof that developers and engineers are adopting an automated approach to testing at a rapid pace,” said Tucker Callaway, CRO. “The market is primed for a cloud-based continuous testing solution like Sauce, and I am eager to take the company into its next phase of growth.”

This new addition to the leadership team comes at a time when Sauce is positioning itself for aggressive growth. In May, 2017 the company named former TubeMogul executive Paul Joachim as CFO, followed by the June introduction of Sauce Labs Test Analytics, a market-leading addition to its automated testing platform. Immediately thereafter, the company hosted their first-ever annual user conference, SauceCon 2017, to a sold out crowd in San Francisco. In August, Sauce Labs promoted industry veteran Terri Avnaim to be the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer after two successful years as the company’s Vice President of Marketing.

“As Sauce Labs matures, the time was right to bring in a proven sales leader who can drive our customer acquisition strategy on a global scale,” said Charles Ramsey, CEO of Sauce Labs. “I’m confident that our current leadership team is as solid as any high growth company in the Bay Area.”
