The Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager to lead our core accounting operations and help scale the function as the company grows. This role owns the month-end close, accounting coordination, audit, and compliance activities, while driving continuous improvement, system automation, and internal control rigor. You’ll work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and team development.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations including GL, AP, payroll entries, commission capitalization, lease accounting and expense accounting.
• Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Support external audit, tax compliance, and regulatory filings.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, internal controls, and automation using tools like NetSuite and Expensify.
• Collaborate with FP&A to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Assist in preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders, board meetings, and external partners.
• Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
• Partner cross-functionally with Legal, RevOps, and People teams to ensure accounting compliance in new initiatives.
  
  

Required Skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606)
• Experience working in PE-backed or high-growth SaaS/tech environments
• Strong system expertise in ERP (NetSuite preferred), Expensify, and Excel; experience with automation tools is a plus
• Demonstrated success managing audits, leading teams, and scaling accounting processes
• Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills
• Public accounting background (Big 4 or top firm) is a plus
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time to support in-person collaboration with your team or customers, as needed on-site or within the region.
