New to
Selenium testing? Or even automated testing? Join us Febuary 23 at
OpenDNS in San Francisco for a workshop, led by
Santiago Suarez Ordoñez and
Sebastian Tiedtke, Sr. Software Engineers at
Sauce Labs, that will provide you with knowledge and hands-on experience writing scripts to automatically test your web app cross-browser with Selenium.

Aimed at QA folks who understand and practice testing, we hope that by the end of this workshop you'll be able to write and edit automated test cases using
Selenium Builder, an open source record/playback tool. Additionally, we want to arm you with working knowledge of concepts such as identifying assertions with Selenium, refactoring your code, and debugging your tests.
To sign up and view the full agenda, visit the
registration page on Eventbrite. Tickets are $45 and include breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day.
Pre-reqs are:
- Experience with QA and testing, perhaps manually or with a tool other than Selenium
- Additionally, you should bring your own laptop and have pre-installed Firefox, Chrome, and Python 2.7.3. (Note: We will be using Python for our example tests, but there will be opportunities to write test cases in other programming languages).
Thanks to our friends at OpenDNS for helping to keep ticket prices low by providing breakfast, drinks and snacks throughout the day, and for providing the space for the event. See you on the 23rd!
