New Atlassian JIRA and HipChat Integrations

Posted Oct 12th, 2016

Sauce Labs continues to extend our development ecosystem with new JIRA and HipChat integrations that complement our existing Bamboo and Bitbucket Pipelines add-ons.

Software development teams continue to look for ways to speed up their processes without compromising quality. In order to help address this challenge, Sauce Labs continues to extend our development ecosystem integrations and plugins with other key software build chain tools. With the addition of HipChat we now support JIRA (on-premise and Cloud versions), Bamboo and Bitbucket Pipelines. Now developers can use Sauce Labs and their favorite Atlassian tool to test and collaborate more effectively.

Our plugin lets you easily share test results including videos and logs automatically with your team over chat. Simply paste the test results URL into HipChat and it sends a test summary to your team and indicates pass / fail status. View test assets including video, screenshots and the Test Details page with all logs and metadata.

With the click of a button you can now create a JIRA software ticket directly from your Sauce Labs Test Details page. The plugin will automatically upload the screenshots, logs, and video link to your tests making it easy to share out among your team. This now works with both the Cloud and on-premise versions.

The Sauce Labs plugin for Bamboo helps teams optimize automated testing for their CI and CD workflows. Working from the Bamboo interface, devs can now configure, manage and review test results without ever leaving the admin console. Users can quickly select browsers, launch the latest version of Sauce Connect Proxy - our secure TLS tunnel, and review all test data including videos and logs.

Bitbucket Pipelines
With Sauce Labs and Bitbucket Pipelines, it is easy to launch your automated Selenium and Appium tests as part of your Bitbucket Pipelines build process. Sauce Labs helps users reduce their overall build time to as low as a couple minutes through cloud based test execution and massive parallelization. Bitbucket Pipelines is currently in Beta.

All the integrations are available today, free for Sauce users.

Happy Testing!
