Last week, we kicked off a new tech talk series, the Best Practices for Automated Testing (Part 1), presented by Nikolay Advolodkin, Solutions Architect. He provided his background, introduced the workshop, explained the testing pyramid, and guided viewers through a small exercise.

In this second post, Nikolay walks through the best practices for test case design to help you succeed in test automation. Here you’ll get a chance to meet Uncle Bob (one of the authors of the Agile Manifesto), learn the importance of removing duplication, and get tips on page object pattern and anti-patterns to make your tests more maintainable and readable.

Ready to put what you learned to the test? In this interactive session, you will review a few page objects and determine if they are good or bad based on what you can interpret.

Stay tuned for the next video!
