How It Works
Sauce OnDemand is a drop-in replacement for Selenium RC, so configuring your scripts to use Sauce OnDemand is a snap. If your app is behind a firewall, Sauce Labs offers a secure automated tunnelling system to bridge your infrastructure with ours.
Step 1 — Create tests
Sauce OnDemand can run your existing Selenium tests. Tools like Sauce IDE make test writing a snap.
We support Selenium User Extensions and testing of Flash and Flex across all the most popular browsers.
Step 2 — Let us run them
Our cloud will run your tests across multiple browsers, quickly and reliably. Our uptime is over 99.9%, so you can be confident your continuous integration won't stall or back up. Plus, we only charge for the time your tests run — the boot and load time is free!
You run tests from Sauce IDE, Sauce RC, or Selenium RC. You can automate in serial or parallel using the Sauce OnDemand API. This API integrates with your existing test framework, such as TestNG, Junit, PHPUnit, RSPec, and Cucumber. Sauce OnDemand integrates with your CI, or if you don't have one check out our Hudson Plugin to get started. You can also connect to SauceOndemand using and existing Selenium Grid, or leverage test management tools such as Bromine.
Step 3 — Watch video playback of failing tests
If your tests fail, locating the source of the problem is simple, as we provide screenshots and video recording of each test. And now, with SauceTV, you can watch the tests in real time, catching failures before the tests even finish.
