SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - May 3, 2016) - Sauce Labs, Inc., provider of the world's largest cloud-based platform for automated testing of web and mobile applications, today announced a new integration with JIRA allowing development and testing teams to create tickets from within the Sauce Labs service. The integration optimizes development processes for continuous integration (CI) and continuous development (CD) workflows, allowing developers to release better software, faster.

"Software development teams continue to look for ways to speed up their processes without compromising quality," said Lubos Parobek, vice president of product, Sauce Labs. "In order to help address this challenge, Sauce Labs continues to extend our development ecosystem integrations and plugins with other key software build chain tools. Our new release offers the first automated test cloud integration for JIRA, helping to foster enhanced team collaboration and resolution of software development issues faster."

The new Sauce Labs for JIRA offers the following features and capabilities:

_Create tickets directly from the Sauce Labs interface._Save time and increase collaboration by creating JIRA tickets to report issues (bugs) directly from the Sauce Labs' detailed test report page.

_Automatically upload rich test data and debugging tools to JIRA._Upload test videos, screenshots, Selenium logs and browser version/OS version/platform information directly to the JIRA ticket, providing developers with the key debugging tools they need in one place.

_Attach job detail link to the JIRA ticket._Tickets contain a link back to Sauce Labs where users can automatically launch a browser session on the failing platform to watch the test and help with debugging.

Sauce Labs provides a high-performance, cloud-based automated testing platform that is optimized for CI and CD workflows. When tests are automated and run in parallel on virtual machines and/or real devices, testing time is significantly reduced and IT teams no longer need to devote time to managing testing infrastructure.

When paired with a CI system, multiple development teams can instantly provision additional testing resources to test web as well as native and hybrid mobile applications, continuously and affordably. Sauce Labs currently supports more than 700 browser, operating system and device platform combinations, including mobile emulators, simulators and real devices.
